About the Speaker
Elizabeth Aaronsohn is an associate professor of teacher education at Central Connecticut State University. As an educator whose career spans more than 40 years, her teaching and research are extensions of her social justice activism. Aaronsohn advocates student-centered learning environments where teachers become reflective, imaginative, and flexible facilitators in the classroom. Author of Going Against the Grain: Supporting the Student-Centered Teacher, she has been honored by the Connecticut Conference on Multicultural Education.
