Daniel R. Beerens South Side Christian School, Holland, MI

Daniel R. Beerens is director of curriculum and instruction at Pine Ridge Christian Elementary School in Holland, MI. He has worked with children with behavior disorders in an urban public schools and has also taught fourth-grade and middle school students with physical disabilities in suburban private and public school settings. After receiving his master’s degree in educational leadership at National-Louis University, he served as principal of several elementary and middle schools. Within each district, he was significantly involved in systemwide curricular change and program development. He has presented on teacher evaluation and professional growth at regional and national conferences.
